About the video: This is a rare and complete film which was taken in Birmingham in 1957. I apologise for the poor quality. This film is an old `8mm film` trasferred to `video` then to `DVD` then compacted to fit the net. This film is of a intsruction class and does not show Abbe Sensei at his best but it does give those that only know his name a rare opportunity to see the great man `` teaching a class `` Abbe Sensei entered the United Kingdom in 1955. He was the first Japanese in 1955 to introduce the martial art of Aikido to Britain at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
