About the video: A demonstration of judo and kendo performed by members of the London Budokwai in 1937. Includes a quick close-up of legendary British jiujitsu pioneer Yukio Tani.

Yukio Tani was one of the early greats of British Judo and Jujutsu, he was also one of the teachers of another Judo legend Matsutaro Otani Sensei. There is a great article on Yukio Tani in the articles section on the British Aikido website. http://www.geocities.com.britishaikido
